I visited the Bay Area for the first time in October. I stayed with my friend Calvin (@CalvinMenAtWork), who reports on crime and breaking news for the Santa Cruz Sentinel. His tweets had led me to believe that Santa Cruz was full of murderers and arsonists, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this wasn't the case. We did, of course, spend some time in San Francisco as well.
