Oregon
I took a trip out to Oregon in June. I spent a few days in Portland, and drove out to the Oregon Coast (Cannon Beach, Astoria) and along the Columbia River. It's always nice to get away from New York and visit a place where people don't just pile their trash up on the sidewalks. The West Coast – with its snow-capped mountains, rocky shorelines, and sunsets over the ocean – truly feels like another world, and every time I visit I don't really want to leave.
